Affirmative Prayer: A Dynamic Discussion

What does Engaged Spirituality mean? The words form an integral part of the name of our beloved Althea Center, but how do you live them?

Discover more about one way on December 4th with Affirmative Prayer: A Dynamic Discussion from Althea's Prayer Partner, Coni Carter.

Think about why you pray, why you don’t pray. Are you desperate, scared, embarrassed? Do you beg or beseech, fearful of religious dictates rooted in old habits of thinking and believing that no longer fulfill you?

In service to the Althea Community, come hear your Prayer Partners yak about Affirmative Prayer in a rousing discussion and demonstration about bringing joy and healing and connection into your life. Help us demonstrate a butt in every seat. Your fellow Altheans will do all we can to make sure you leave service feeling good about yourself, feeling good about life, and with tools to help you during challenging times for the rest of your life.

Everyone has access to the divine energy within to create a more fulfilling life, to engage spiritually with your divine energy. What are you creating with yours? See you December 4th!

All are welcome. Stay for our community lunch directly afterward and the decorating of Althea's holiday tree!
