To Hot to Handel - Althea Symphony Outing

Althea Center Goes to the Colorado Symphony: Holiday Group Outing — Sun., Dec. 18, 2:30 pm **Deadline to purchase tickets: Tuesday, Nov 15**

It’s been five years since the Colorado Symphony Orchestra performed its holiday concert, TOO HOT TO HANDEL. In December 2017, we had an Althea group of 55 people! This exuberant jazz, gospel, and R&B-infused concert brilliantly reinvents Handel’s Messiah.

Colorado Symphony Orchestra brings in three African American guest soloists, Cynthia Renée Saffron, Karen Marie Richardson, Rodrick Dixon, from New York, as well as 2-3 guest musicians, and it features the full Colorado Symphony Chorus, and usually additional singers from community choruses, too. It is a most joyous holiday concert!

In Boettcher Concert Hall on Sun., Dec. 18, 2:30 pm, we have reserved 71 seats. There are 36 seats @ $60 in Orchestra 3 and Mezzanine 7, and 35 seats @ $33 in Mezzanine 8. Student tickets (from elementary through college) are just $15 in any of our sections. First register, first served on the seating.
**Deadline to purchase tickets: Tuesday, Nov 15**

Tim Wilson, who is very particular about getting the best seats for our group, will handle the ticketing and seat assignments by contacting you individually once you have purchased your tickets at your desired price level. He can explain the advantages of the different sections to help you decide where to be seated, and accommodate requests to sit together with other friends, etc.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Tim before you purchase your tickets: tkwdco@icloud.com.
